Ramu Dotel

Public financial management, Nepal

Experience

I joined the Office of the Auditor General in 1989 as an Audit Superintendent and left it in 2022 as Deputy Auditor General. Thirty-three years. The advisory work since has been on the same subjects, from the other side of the desk.

Most of it has been audit: performance, revenue, procurement and the quality of the audits themselves. Some of it has been writing the rules the audits are run against.
